Objective
Having recently completed my post-doctoral research in molecular and cellular biology, I am currently pursuing a career in medical editing and writing. I am looking for freelance work that will allow me to utilize my scientific and research knowledge along with my editing and writing experience to effectively communicate science-related information to both research and lay audiences.

Completed my graduate dissertation where I utilized genetic, molecular, and cellular biology techniques to study mRNA decay in yeast; identified and characterized the CCR4 deadenylase, the enzyme required for removal of poly(A) tails from mRNAs.
